The D2100A is the operator-less machine utilizing four wide powered belts on the table tops and photo switches placing up to two straps per package automatically.
The D2100A is designed to accept 5mm or 6mm (1/4”) strap. The strapping material is heat sealed at a specific temperature for maximum seal efficiency. With a cycle time of only 1.2 seconds, this unit can handle the most demanding throughput rates encountered. Cycle initiation is by photo switch, although the unit can be switched to manual and used like a stand alone D2100 for offline applications. The D2100A has a standard table height of 800mm (31.5”) but can be adjusted after installing a height adjustment kit (optional).
The machine is designed with floor space and safety in mind. The coil is internally mounted therefore minimizing required floor space while utilizing an open design so that the coil is visible. For increased personal safety the strapping machine is also equipped with rounded corners on the table tops.
A couple of features that make this a user friendly unit is the automatic strap discharge and easy automatic strap feeding system. When the machine is out of strap the remaining material is automatically reversed out of the machine. Starting a new coil is as simple as pressing the start button and inserting the strap into the machine. |
